National Colorectal Cancer Month established |
In November 1999, the Senate passed a resolution in November 1999 designating March as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month (NCCAM). In March 2000, we launched the first NCCAM public education campaign with a network of collaborating partner organizations on Capitol Hill.
