On Monday, October 6, 2008, the Prevent Cancer Foundation held its 16th Annual Sporting Clays Invitational at the Prince George’s County Trap and Skeet Center in Glenn Dale, Maryland.
The events guest list included members of Congress and featured approximately 30 four-person teams shooting in a combination of target events. The event raised over $80,000 in support of cancer research, education and outreach. Top contestants were presented with awards in all divisions and categories.
Since 1985, the Prevent Cancer Foundation has provided more than $106 million in support of cancer prevention research, education and outreach programs nationwide. Proceeds from the tournament will help fund several of the Foundation’s community programs. For additional information please contact:
