Use cash, stocks, bonds, real estate or life insurance to establish a charitable lead trust. Annual income is paid to the Prevent Cancer Foundation and the appreciated assets in the trust are transferred to heirs or beneficiaries at the end of the trust’s term. It provides:
- Annual income for the Prevent Cancer Foundation
- Appreciated property that can be passed to designated heirs or beneficiaries
- Elimination of additional gift tax on property’s appreciation passing to heirs
- Elimination or reduction of estate tax
