Bo Aldigé, Lisa Hughes, and myself are thrilled to be heading out to the Amgen Tour of California next week as part of the Breakaway from Cancer initiative. Breakaway from Cancer aims to raise awareness of the comprehensive array of resources available to cancer patients – from prevention to education and support to financial assistance and survivorship. As part of the initiative we will be crisscrossing California helping to spread the Foundation’s important messages through the campaign while following the tour.

prevention and early detection as part of the cancer continuum. There was even a run in with actors Patrick Dempsy and Luke Wilson, and cycling great George Hincapie! Follow us on the blog next week to see what city we’re in, what we’re up to and who we’re meeting along the way.
