Prevent Cancer Foundation is thirty and thriving
Foundation launches new website in advance of 30th Anniversary

WASHINGTON, D.C. —The Prevent Cancer Foundation is kicking of its 30th year next month, and in celebration of that milestone has launched a new website that better reflects its core mission of saving lives across all populations through cancer prevention and early detection.

The website, designed by Saforian, is clean and easy to use, allowing viewers to quickly access information, read the latest news from the Foundation and make a donation. In addition, numerous microsites have now been collapsed into one website, so everything is in one place.

“As an international organization, our web presence is paramount to our success.  People need to be able to find us and locate information in a quick, easy-to-read manner. The Foundation’s 30th  anniversary is the perfect opportunity to bring our website into the next decade,” said Jeanne Ellinport, Managing Director of External Affairs, who led the project. “With the new site, we’ve streamlined that information to give users easy and efficient access to what they need to know about cancer prevention and early detection.”

The new site is optimized for mobile, an essential feature when 63 percent of adult cell phone users use their phones to go online, and donors are increasingly likely to make charitable donations using mobile devices.
