The Prevent Cancer Foundation® is saddened to learn of the declining health of former first lady Barbara Bush.
Mrs. Bush and her husband, former President George H.W. Bush, have been valued supporters of the Foundation since 1994, when they served as patrons of our inaugural Prevent Cancer Annual Spring Gala. We will never be able to adequately express our gratitude for their belief that a young organization focused on prevention and early detection could make a difference in the world of cancer.
Mrs. Bush has always been gracious, forthright, humble, generous and so much more. President and Mrs. Bush and their family are in our thoughts.
