The Prevent Cancer Foundation announces appointment of Jennifer Niyangoda as Vice President of Marketing and Development

Jennifer NiyangodaAlexandria, Va. – The Prevent Cancer Foundation® is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Niyangoda as Vice President of Marketing and Development. Ms. Niyangoda brings over 20 years of experience in strategic fundraising and marketing to the Foundation.

“We are thrilled to have Jennifer join our team,” said Carolyn Aldigé, Founder and CEO of the Prevent Cancer Foundation. “Her energy and experience will help the Foundation reach new audiences and continue to grow globally.”

Ms. Niyangoda has dedicated her career to connecting individuals and institutions to meaningful advancement of important social issues, including healthcare and education. Her experience ranges from leading corporate and foundation partnerships at the American Red Cross national headquarters to driving brand strategy at America Online.  Most recently, Ms. Niyangoda was the Chief Development Officer of Higher Achievement, an education nonprofit.

Ms. Niyangoda is a strategic thinker and results-driven leader with many successes building teams and developing integrated fundraising strategies to strengthen brand relevance and increase funding.

Ms. Niyangoda earned a bachelor’s in journalism from The George Washington University and a master’s in business administration from Virginia Tech.
