Patrick’s Early Detection Story

Patrick was a healthy 20-something who had just moved to Washington, D.C. When he experienced abdominal pain during a workout that didn’t go away, he made an appointment with his primary care physician. Patrick was diagnosed with testicular cancer and underwent surgery to remove the tumors. Because Patrick’s cancer was detected early, he didn’t need radiation or additional surgeries. He is now cancer-free and encourages others to be their own best advocates when it comes to health.
