Support the Prevent Cancer Foundation to save lives through cancer prevention and early detection. Together, we can create a world where no one dies of cancer.
With the new year approaching, it’s crucial you schedule your postponed or missed appointments and routine cancer screenings. While you’re at it, remind a friend to make their appointments, too! Early detection saves lives and if we all get our appointments back on the books, we’ll be one step closer to stopping cancer before it starts.
Because of you, we raised more than $2 million at our 27th annual Gala! Proceeds from the Gala will support Foundation programs, including research grants and fellowships and community outreach grants. Funds will also support public education campaigns, such as the Foundation’s “Back on the Books” campaign to remind people to reschedule their postponed or cancelled routine cancer screenings.
For the last 36 years, the Prevent Cancer Foundation has focused on research, education, outreach and advocacy to reach a world where no one dies of cancer. Listen to Foundation Founder and CEO Bo Aldigé reflect on the organization’s origins and the work that’s been accomplished since the start.
December marks 50 years since the National Cancer Act was signed into law to advance the United States’ efforts against cancer. Watch Prevent Cancer Foundation’s President and COO Jody Hoyos in conversation with Axios VP of Growth Mia Vallo about the innovations in cancer prevention and care.
