Proceeds from this tournament, our 8th event, will enable the Prevent Cancer Foundation® to fund a melanoma research grant in Memory of Drew’s father, Sanford Figdor.
The early signs of melanoma are frequently and easily overlooked; education and prevention can make a world of difference to eliminate most cancers.
Our last two tournaments funded two research grants: One for DNA repair in hereditary cancer at Yale University School of Medicine and one in vaccine research for Epstein-Barr virus at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
