Susanna Quinn and Jennifer GriffinSusanna Quinn, well known Washington, D.C. entrepreneur says, “My journey with cancer started with a shocking diagnosis, and before I could even absorb the news, I was in the hospital fighting for my life.” Her next act is no less incredible. Quinn has partnered with Fox News national security correspondent and breast cancer survivor, Jennifer Griffin to change the lives of others battling this insidious disease.

“When two of our newest board members, Jennifer and Susanna, came to us with this idea of coordinating a national holiday show, we were genuinely touched,” said Carolyn “Bo” Aldigé, Founder and CEO of the Prevent Cancer Foundation. “This holiday show will not only make gift-giving easier, it will also put important information about cancer prevention and early detection in front of people across the country. We are so appreciative to have so many incredible partners in this effort.”

The Prevent Cancer Holiday Show launches on Friday, November 27 and will run until January 1. The shop is showcasing national retailers, restaurants, and brands, all of whom are donating to the work of Prevent Cancer Foundation. Retailers include Blue Mercury, Framebridge, GoGo Jewelry, Meg Carter Designs, One Hope Winery and many others.

“Our mission is to save lives and prevent cancer through research, education and outreach. In response to the pandemic, we launched the Back on the Books campaign to encourage people to schedule the cancer screenings and vaccination appointments they have missed during the pandemic,” said Aldigé. “The more people we can reach with this message, the more lives we can save.”

About the Prevent Cancer Foundation®

The Prevent Cancer Foundation® is celebrating 35 years as the only U.S. nonprofit organization focused solely on saving lives across all populations through cancer prevention and early detection.  Through research, education, outreach and advocacy, we have helped countless people avoid a cancer diagnosis or detect their cancer early enough to be successfully treated.

The Foundation is rising to meet the challenge of reducing cancer deaths by 40% by 2035. To achieve this, we are committed to investing $20 million for innovative technologies to detect cancer early and advance multi-cancer screening, $10 million to expand cancer screening and vaccination access to medically underserved communities, and $10 million to educate the public about screening and vaccination options.
