The Prevent Cancer Foundation’s 18th annual Quantitative Imaging Workshop will take place November 4-5, 2021, as a virtual event. This year’s topic is Optimizing Thoracic Imaging to Detect and Manage Early Lung Cancer/COPD.
The Workshop is a high-impact multi-disciplinary forum for the advancement of quantitative low-dose computerized tomography (LDCT) imaging biomarkers for detection and management of early thoracic disease—lung cancer, COPD and cardiovascular disease—three of the top four leading causes of death in the U.S.
The Foundation aims to convene stakeholders and achieve the following:
Since 2004, the Foundation has convened a series of annual workshops to exchange ideas on exciting new biomedical opportunities that the transformational LDCT technology enables, as well as information on the quality and consistency of policy and advocacy for responsible lung cancer, COPD and cardiovascular screening.
The 2021 workshop is put on in partnership with the American Lung Association.
Register for this year’s Quantitative Imaging Workshop and help move the world toward increased early detection and a healthier future.
