Testicular Cancer Awareness Month

April 1, 2023 - April 30, 2023

While testicular cancer somewhat uncommon, it is mostly diagnosed among young, healthy individuals ages 20-39.

While early detection is always preferable, testicular cancer is generally considered to be very treatable—even in later stages—through varying combination treatments, often including surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. In fact, the five-year survival rate among diagnosed individuals is around 95%!*

Yet, despite the positive outlook of testicular cancer treatments, maintaining awareness and staying educated remains crucial.

Some symptoms to be aware of include:

  • a lump or swelling on the testicles

  • changes in either testicle’s shape or size

  • lower abdomen, groin or back pain

  • Sudden collection of fluid in the scrotum

This Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, we’re promoting Better Outcomes by encouraging everyone to remain informed on how to spot symptoms of testicular cancer early!
